Switchboard are an LGBT+ Helpline, which provide a safe space for anyone to discuss anything, including sexuality, gender identity, sexual health and emotional wellbeing.
Breakout Youth

Breakout Youth is an independent charity based in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight offering a confidential support service for young people aged 13 to 21, who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning or unsure of their sexuality or gender identity.

A first point of call to access the variety of support services the University offers its students. They offer drop-in sessions to discuss the support you require. These run 1pm-3pm Mon-Fri during term-time and 1pm-3pm Mon, Weds, and Fri during University holidays. Attending one of these drop-in sessions will allow the member of staff working to assess what support you require and liaise with the appropriate service.
